Paul graduated from Saint Mary's University in Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada back in 1989 with a Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in International Business, Management, Finance & Development). Since that time he has added the MCAS (Microsoft Certified Application Specialist) and MOS (Microsoft Office Specialist) certifications and is a MOS and MCAS MMI (Microsoft Master Instructor for Office 2003 and Office 2007). He is also certified in Adobe applications: Photoshop, Flash and Dreamweaver. His is an authorized instructor for IC3 (Internet and Core Computing Certification).
Paul has been an instructor from a very early age. He taught computer skills and applications to students in continuing education at the YWCA in Halifax in the late 80's. He then taught English for a few years in Haiti and Japan. He returned to the computer classroom in 1999 when he taught classes at the Vancouver YMCA and at a local private English school.
Paul's first paying job using computers was while he was in Haiti in 1980-1984. He used the Radio Shack TRS-80 computers to program an inventory database and a name database. When he returned to Canada in 1984 he took on more jobs using computers, including in 1985 acquiring the first Apple Macintosh computer. He worked for several years using MS-DOS and Word Perfect until in the early 90's he migrated onto Windows. He returned to his Apple Macintosh roots in the early 90's with the Mac Classic and continues to use Macs and his preferred computer platform.
Paul's extensive international work and living experience brings him many chances to encounter people from many different cultures. He speaks five languages and makes it a habit to learn a few key phrases whenever he visits a new country.
He is currently working with our company at developing a new areas of service in India and the Philippines.
