Saturday, September 4, 2010 - St. Michael's Anglican Church. We were pleased to be the A/V provider for the special gospel concert this evening. The concert was presented by Rainbow Community Church of Vancouver, Metro Vancouver Dream Centre and St. Michael's Anglican Church. This was a fund-raiser for their annual Thanksgsiving dinner for those who have HIV/AIDS, disabled and the needy. This dinner will be held this year on Saturday, October 9.
This concert was setup with a 4-speaker system, two keyboards, bass guitar and performer microphones; screen and projector; running Easy Worship software.
Paul Donovan returned the end of July after spending 17 days touring the Philippines. He visited 9 different cities - Naga City/Calabanga, Tabaco City, Legaspi City, Ormoc City, Cebu City, Toledo City, San Jose Del Monte/Norzagaray, Tarlac City and Blaangas -- and 11 different provinces - Manila, Camarines Sur, Albay, Sorsogon, North Samar, Samar, Leyte, Cebu, Bulacan, Tarlac and Bataan.
The All Staff Meeting in Tabaco City went off as planned, alas Arjie was unable to join us. Paul met with Noe, Johannes and Jaylind on Sunday, July 18th in Tabaco City. The city has changed a lot in one year with the opening of the new central market and moving the open market to new spaces.
Meetings with hotels and city officials in Naga City and Ormoc City went well as we talked about our plans for the future with our Tayo Na Sa Canada project.
